Self-Driving Trucks Are Going to Hit Us Like a Human-Driven Truck

This is a map of the most common job in each US state in 2014.

Looking at that picture reminds me of the bubble that I live in. How many truck drivers do I know well?

Scott Santents writes in Medium about about the imminent need for basic income in recognition of our machine-driven future. This is probably one of the best things I've read all month. Makes me re-think what our future is going to look like for most Americans.
