Wish Facebook combined with Monster.com? Check Out Doostang.com

If you've ever wished you could stay connected with your friends while searching for your next dream job, you are not alone. Doostang.com is a free, invitation-only social/job networking site. Kanyi Maqubela, an undergrad at Stanford and member of the Doostang team, describes the site:
Doostang is an online career community founded at Stanford and MIT by friends who wanted a way to connect with their friends and share high caliber jobs and career information with each other. It has grown to over 165,000 users in the undergraduate, graduate, and young professional communities across the country.

Kanyi got involved in the Doostang wave after he met Mareza Larizadeh, the co-founder, through a mutual friend. Along with Chelsea Burkett of Stanford and Jeff Fernandez of Harvard, he proceeded to work on a grassroots campaign where they went from school to school meeting people as possible to spread the word about Doostang.

Doostang can easily become the next big job site. Doostang members have already successfully received offers from companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Apple, ABC, Disney, Spark, DE Shaw & Co, Fox, Facebook, MTV, Google and many more.

Don't wait -- Check out Doostang.com. You just might find your dream job. (If not, you can at least check out what your friends are up to.)
